Honest question. I work as a Designer for a company that provides virtual services. We have clients all over the US. I did designs for an event by people that retain us. I received content from and I had the designs approved by the event coordinator. She requested I send the designs to their selected printer. I did, way ahead of their required turn around time. But No proofs yet. If it’s not printed in time, who’s fault is it. Mine, the designer. The Event Coordinator, or the printer?

A year ago, I got promoted to Art Director, and since our team is pretty small, I’m still very hands-on in terms of designing. I’m currently responsible for creating online advertising, branding and everything that goes into our social media channels (design, not content). I want to ask others Art Directors here, what responsibilities you have. What your day-to-day looks like? I’m still doing everything that I used to do when I was a Lead Designer. Am I missing something?

For those of you who work remotely, does your employer pay for your Adobe CC subscription or is that something you pay for yourself? I’m currently looking for ft remote work and am not sure if that should be considered when looking at salaries.
