LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like? I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look". Hey freelance designers! What’s your going rate for a logo design/branding project for a mid-size company these days?

Getting ready to take on a project with a local real estate company branding a new subdivision but I haven’t done one of these in a few years and don’t want to undercut myself on compensation.

Recently at my company there was some concern with salaries due to an accidental email going out with starting salaries for new job postings.. long story short, is it common for different departments to have higher salaries for the same title? For example a senior graphic designer in brand verse product marketing?

Is it worth it to do post-graduate work in design? Does anyone here have an advanced degree?

I’ve worked for many companies involving creative traditional/digital artwork, but my last job threw my health under the bus, so now my current has very little creative work and work with databases..

My question is: what was the thing that helped you get back into a creative job?

Revamping your resume? Personal projects? Starting your own company?

I feel like there are so many doors that are open I just lose steam haha.

Hi!! Is anyone hiring for a part time, remote marketing or graphic designer position?

I’m getting back into the design game after taking a break. I left a very toxic work environment that deeply effected my mental and physical health and took a very different job to have a change of pace and do something different. But I miss doing graphic design and creative work. Any advice with getting back into the field after being out of the game for 6 months?

A year ago, I got promoted to Art Director, and since our team is pretty small, I’m still very hands-on in terms of designing. I’m currently responsible for creating online advertising, branding and everything that goes into our social media channels (design, not content). I want to ask others Art Directors here, what responsibilities you have. What your day-to-day looks like? I’m still doing everything that I used to do when I was a Lead Designer. Am I missing something?
