I got the vaccine but am more wary on mRNA long term impact for my littles, I’ll probably go old school J&J for them. For cancer or other serious illness, I’d risk lack of long term studies without a second thought but when it’s a much lower mortality risk it’s harder to make that call. Let the roasting of my logic begin 🙃
Risk without vaccination has a separate layer of actually catching the virus. When you take a vaccine you have a 100% chance of being exposed to the risks of vaccination.

If vaccination doesn't stop the spread how would having everyone vaccinated help stop the spread exactly? Answer this. It's not only those who haven't been vaccinated that spread COVID.
The CDC themselves recently reported ~400 children have died “from Covid” SINCE MARCH 2020.
Also according to the CDC, ~480 children died from the flu in 2018-19.

My best friend is an children’s doctor at the largest hospital in Arkansas. His wife is due with their first child. Asked him about this and he said with the recent covid developments in children, as soon as his daughter is eligible, they will be getting it. My girlfriend is in her final year of getting her PhD in immunology and she said our future kids will be getting it. After I caught my breath about the kids comment, she explained people are using old data when saying covid doesn’t impact children.
Also there’s no good reason not to get it. Vaccine risk <<<< COVID risk as vaccine risk is close to nil. Really not complicated people.
