My friend just recently got promoted to a sr. ad and he knows he’s going to eat a pay bump but wants to know what the norm is. I’ve never moved so my viewpoint isn’t normal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now that I got promoted to manager, I’m kind of missing the camaraderie that came along with being out on the floor with everyone else. Is that normal?

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.
