Simple formatting, no tables or columns, no headers/footers, standard fonts, etc etc. Also make sure you're using the exact keywords from the job posting. Try one of those free ATS checker tools if you think you're getting filtered out. There's tons of them out there and they're super helpful.

Like HRG1 said, ATS keywords are huge. I hadn't looked for work for the longest time so I didn't even know what they were until I started applying for jobs late last year and I realized that ATS keyword optimization was key.

I have found simpler CVs with clear outcomes work best. Fewer graphics, strong keywords from the job description, and measurable impact. It feels reductive, but the systems are not reading nuance

Hi Fellow Fishes,

Good Day! I have got offer from HCL Technologies
My YOE is 3 years(Tech stack- Oracle DBA) and CTC I got is 10 LPA gross.
Will it be worth joining hcl at this PKG considering I am switching from TCS. Or should I take retention offer of 8.5 LPA.
Please give your advice.
