How did you get laid off? I'm still in shock in the way that I was. Everything was normal. Literally, the day before I was let go, I had a meeting about a new project I was going to help lead, and then BOOM. Suddenly, I'm no longer even on the team, let alone head a project. I don't understand how these things work, and I almost don't want to know. Were things first slow and then gone, or did it happen all of a sudden for you as well?

Im a 6th year associate working for a company that I plan to stay at long term. Currently working under a G.C. that does not analyze anything from a legal perspective, occupies herself with mostly admin/operational issues, and doesnt give any direction on how she wants things “handled.” Just looking for any suggestions from people who have successfully dealt with this before.

I submitted my documents and I am trying to contact the HR who scheduled my interview, but she is not picking up my call. My question is how soon can I expect the offer letter to be released?
