How do yall fit pumping into your outlook schedule? I feel like just blocking it off sets your status to “busy” and I still get cold calls 🫠

Do not disturb on Teams. Same way I do naps!

funny

Psshhh, just ignore/decline the calls. Your status/calendar should speak for itself. I wouldn't expect someone who is "busy" to pick up the phone even if I did try calling. I'd think to myself, oh I guess they actually are busy.

I blocked as ‘busy’ for an hour, when the actual pump break was closer to 35min. This allowed me flexibility to take a quick call if absolutely necessary during the window while still maintaining my pumping time. When I went to actually pump I set my status to ‘away’ so people would know I was not at my desk and would not be able to answer pings/calls.

Can’t you still take calls while pumping no camera?

The noise of the pumps and the general distraction makes it kind of tough, I feel like I can’t really focus with something yanking at my nips 🥴

I know this may not be a popular comment;

I don’t understand the overvalue of “I have oncology experience, or I do have dermatology experience”.

What I do really care is to know, regardless which disease you’ve worked on, if you did something great, disruptive, found a new way of doing something, did a great/smooth launch…

Don’t have experience? If you are good on those other things, I know you can learn context fast.
