How do you explain SOX/SOC compliance to your friends or family? When I try to explain that I don’t do Tax or Audit they’re so confused.

I have 7 years of experience and recently i got offer from CTS as a Sr. Associate. I am into testing and into automation since last 3 years. I don't have automation architect type knowledge but I do automating scenarios with selenium and Java. I am not into framework development. Now if I join CTS at 15.7 package will they expect me to work into framework development or just as a tester who does automation sprint wise scenarios. Please only genuine suggestion. I have an offer from @Morgan Stanley for 36 lpa.. 8 years, Java backend developer.. I am also about to have a managerial round with Mercedez Benz and Zscaler.. Morgan Stanley they said I initially I will have to work on existing applications and later move on to microservices project.. Both Benz and Zscaler are working on good tech stack.. Are any of these worth considering if they match what Morgan Stanley is offering?

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.
