Depends on if I like the people I work with.

Even if I like the people I work with, I feel like I usually still get drained from after work events. I usually just want my own time to do my own things or to spend it with friends that aren't related to work
Definitely depends on the group and timing. Mid sprint when I’m surely putting in overtime I decline social hours. I have so many touch points kind of feels like I see my co workers more than enough.

Agree on that second point. I'm surprised your team is still going out mid sprint when it's busy though. I'm in the same boat and would definitely decline all social get togethers
I'm not a fan. I don't want to spend time with work people outside of work. If the happy hour or social event takes place during work hours, then of course I'm all for it. I just don't have any interest in sacrificing my personal time for the sake of "team building".

Yea I usually feel like this too. Not that I have anything against my co workers but I already see y'all everyday I just want more of my own time back where I don't have to be "on"
I hate them if I'm being completely honest and I avoid them like the plague. I spend enough time with coworkers. I don't want to give up any of my personal time to them as well.

I feel this often too, but I feel like I have to show face sometimes. It's not even that I don't like the people that I work with, but I also value my own time and I have my own things that I want to do outside of work
I like going once in a while. I do like the majority of people well enough, so a quick drink or something is not misery to me. Although I’m not present for everyone. I don’t like them THAT much 😂

LOL fair. I think I usually do something similar where I'll go to show face but leave after an appropriate amount of time especially since I want time to do my own things
If it’s free drinks. No one is making any money these days to drink near the office.

LMAO good point but sometimes even the free drink can't get me to go. It's just not worth it for me sometimes especially when my social battery is drained
