How do you know if your employer claws back maternity leave if you don’t stay for some time after? I’m in house and there’s no clear language either way in our policies or contract/handbook. I want to move during my maternity leave and resign/get a new job but I’m obviously not gonna do that if I have to pay it back, so I need to figure it out.

We’re in cost cutting mode, so I can’t really straight up ask or they’ll figure out I’m leaving and might let me go early.
