How does everyone communicate within their offices? In my office, a lot of people are not office based so it’s difficult to have face to face conversations. Obviously phone calls happen but another technique we use is WhatsApp and WhatsApp group chats.
I find this work great as if someone doesn’t pick up I can just ping them a message as they look at this more than their emails if they’re busy.
Does anyone else use WhatsApp or have any other ways?

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.

Had an interview for an associate position at Citi. Interviewee was based in London and I’m in NYC. The only interview time that worked was 6am. I was barely functioning and feel like I truly messed up in my answers because I couldn’t not think clearly. I have another with the head of the division next week again at 6am (pre determined before this interview). It was also hard because the division’s core work is private enough that there was not much prep I could do beforehand. Tips?
