Kolkata is Love. Be it Ey or Deloitte or Pwc. Just join. I have worked for 11 years. No discrimination, less expensive, best food in India, plenty of travel places and very helpful people. Its just hot during summers

The office is pretty good. The 6th and 7th floor are designed to bring in the exact environment of what is currently in Hyderabad office. Ofcourse Hyd office cannot be compared with any other location. There is 3rd snd 8th floor as well for Deloitte professional but not redisigned like 6th and 7th. There is a cafeteria on the 8th floor which is not Deloitte owned but food and snacks are available there. Finding dual monitors can be challenging so you will have to go to office and get a fair idea which all desks have dual monitors and accordingly book tables via Magnet.

Overall, Kolkata Deloitte office is a good setup

Bhai technopolis ke yahan wahan just ambience dekhna...kuch nhi rakha hai. Typical call centre type ka building and environment hai
Ab sasta khana chahiye to yahan mil jayega roadside stands pe...par unhealthy and expired food items use hota hai.

And still the biggest and most renown people are from Bengal and not from any northern belt of Bihar, UP, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan. I guess education matters a lot 🤣🤣🤣

If you want to save money and basically if you are from nearby states of west bengal then it's good decision to shift to Kolkata. You can enjoy your festivals here and also can visit your family members regularly. Food options are good in kolkata but not in technopolis building.

Where do you find the time to get everything done in the day when you have multiple partners, associates and equity partners that interrupt you and want things turned around immediately while simultaneously working on deadlines? I feel like I’m the only one that can’t manage a 70+ case load without letting someone down. I constantly have to say “Can I do this tomorrow?” Etc. I don’t even have time to bill on the clock. Guys. I need your suggestion. Shall i stay here in Kolkata or return back to my home town for a month or two provided Magnet doesn't have any space. My home town is nearby. It's not commutable by road but i can come here in short notice if any. I'm currently not assigned to any project so no one checks if I go to office.
