How many last companies and years they do verify in BGV?
Also are they still able to verify epfo data as no one access service history of an employee after March 2025.

Depends on that MNC and package they have subscribed with that vendor for background verification depth

Ideally last 3-5 yrs in most, in companies like TCS, LTI, Infy, CTS etc... everything right from the start (even if that experience is not mentioned on CV)

They use epfo credentials and by aadhar / UAN have to access full past service history.

You said no one can assess service histoy after Mar 25? May I know why did you think so?

There is a circular passed in March. Employer or 3rd parth can not see empoyer service history. Only empoyee can see with own login.

Even if they can't see , but they will ask employee to show epfo history screenshot if required for BGV.

I have been a practicing (patent prosecution) lawyer in different firms for about 20 years. I would love to do something more creative but still techie (computers, telecom, apps, etc.). I've always been interested in improving the software that practicing lawyers use (whether patent-specific or not). I am also kind of an academic at heart, but I live in a locale where professorial jobs are pretty limited and we're rooted here now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
