Hi! In Dec. I saw I was being underpaid & expressed my frustration to my boss & HR & was told they can’t do anything until may. I was also encouraged to look for an internal role at a more sr level to get closer to the salary I’m looking for. I don’t want to leave my role yet & my boss says she thinks she can make the salary bump happen for may. I’ve received 2 offers elsewhere & turned them down & just got one for 25% pay bump. it’s getting harder to stay on when I know I could be making more.

I have my P&C license, work at an insurance agency in houston and I make 60k a year. I’ve been in insurance 12 yrs. Is that a decent salary?, I’ve never really looked around at other agencies.

Her current package is 2.5lpa from a small company (3yrs exp java spring boot) . She got offer from Accenture of 6lpa (fixed) . After this she had interview with cognizant and asked for package of 7 lpa. When she recieved the offer from cognizant it was of 10lpa fixed. Most interesting part after 2 weeks she got revised offer letter from cogni without any discussion of 16lpa with 1L joining bonus.

How can we analyse and suggest her regarding offer.

I am working with JPMC right now and looking to switch to Natwest. YOE 7.5, CTC: 31LPA . want to understand which band should i apply for to get around same CTC (not specifically looking for hike).

Would you rather: indie shop with great work, would be a bit of a "hustle" but likely would help you refine your skills OR holding agency shop with good work/life balance. Same pay, similar benefits, both hybrid. Have around 3-4 years of experience.

Back in 2017 I quit an absolutely awful company that treated me (and all other lower level employees) like trash. We were constantly being reprimanded about not doing our job well enough, but then would also get yelled at for overtime when we tried to do our job well.

Just started a new role in finance and I’m the only woman on the team. It’s been 3 weeks and the guys have been pretty unwelcoming and kind of rude. The first day everyone was welcoming but it went downhill since. One of them keeps trying to scare me that the work will get hard etc and there’s always awkward silence and sometimes unnecessary rude remarks. I just started and don’t feel right what should I do.

Echo and nuclear leaders and techs: is your facility 1) requiring COVID testing before exercise stress testing, 2) wear N95 and PPE, or 3) both testing and PPE?
Our clinic is removing the cost barrier of testing but staff are worried about risks since echo rooms don’t have HEPA or negative pressure systems and patients are allowed to remove their masks while running and breathing heavy during image acquisition.

It all seems great but I have a boss who comes resounds to me when she wants to and doesn’t when she doesn’t. But when she responds she comes in with yelling at me. I get paid $90k with potential of $95 in two months. I handle recruitment, employee relations and onboarding. I’m not sure if this company is a great fit.
