How many of you want to continue this career till you retire? I know I started off in this field because I wasn't able to find a job in the area that I have a degree in, which is psychology. Four years later, I don't really want to go back anyway and feel like I could do this for the rest of my life.

How common is it for first year associates to spin wheels? In my 4th month, I spent 6 hours doing a return with 3 K-1 royalties, 2 Schedule C with few expenses, and the usual 1099-DIV/INT, including consolidated 1099. Budgeted time was 5 hours total. I have yet to get my return reviewed.
