Always get that 6 month inch
Yeh feeling that. My annual perf and salary review is pending as well which makes me antsy
Not a patient person, but especially in this job market I feel that nobody would hire me with the little experience I have (6 months). Gonna hold on until at least 1 year, but at that point it would be a lateral hire rather than a promo. So I’ll probs wait until 2 years to see if I get promoted to Senior at my firm or if I should apply for jobs elsewhere at that level
I’m in the same boat with just finishing my first year post MBA (I did my mba right after undergrad though). My firm is sponsoring me though so I’ll have to stick it out to get my green card and they know that…which kinda sucks ngl - but at the same time I acknowledge my fortunate situation.
Just started studying for the GMAT after 2.5 yrs here
EY1 - nice! Have u checked if they don’t waive your GMAT if your undergrad is from a uni with a specific certification?
P much always looking, doesn’t really hurt to browse LinkedIn
Yeah morale is low but I think it’s industry wide
I’m always interviewing. It’s good to keep up the network and skill level and see what’s out there. My last company I was there for 3 years and got laid off on my first day of a 2 week PTO
Always networking, meeting with recruiters, and potentially applying for jobs. Accenture has felt meh the last couple months for me so have been more seriously considering as of late. Been there ~1.5 years.
I think it comes from working for a big firm, feeling like a cog in a machine. There’s a lot of demand in my area, but a lot of attrition so we are working twice as hard to be told we can get promos or same level raises during talent reviews. Love my coworkers just don’t love how operations are going
