There seems to be quite a few people in here looking to join a startup.
We're a mature aerospace impact startup (in Switzerland) pre launch for a new platform to engage and empower passangers in order to accelerate sustainability in aviation. Our product website is www.adaption.me and company website is www.optimaero .ai.
If you're interested in joining us, and you think you have skills that suit our business, you could drop me a speculative application by email at hello@OptimAero.ai.

Hi there. I wouldn’t take a break necessarily. I would devote time though on the weekends and when you can during the week for a new job. Maybe it’s a change of scenery you need. Try to branch out to different firms and see whose hiring. CFP is valuable and networking with different wealth managers would be a good thing to do.
Do you have savings ? This is a good time to look for a new job/career . If you have savings . Go for it . But set up realistic goals and a deadline .
Good luck !
Yes, 2-3 yrs of savings actually, so should be good there. Been with the same firm for 7 yrs, and it's a household name, so should be hireable. Was actually thinking about putting out some resumes before leaving anyway, or shortly after. Really just not sure if a few month gap will matter to hiring managers. Love to take 6 months, but that seems unlikely. Thanks for your reply!
If you are in a large company they have Sabbatical time off offerings . If not milk the system and go on a mental health break . Maybe disability covers that .
Well, burnout is certainly an issue, but more so, it's our newish boss. Old boss was great, we had a very stable situation and were a leading site in the country. Of course, he got a promotion. Our numbers have tanked with the new guy, and we have had massive turnover, and it has become untenable for me at this point, unfortunately. Just toxic overall.
Origin hires planners by the hour on contract for financial planning services. It’s a great way to fill the gap, make extra cash and control your schedule and career.
