How specific to the prompt do our recommenders have to be? One prompt is “Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant's response.” To be honest, I’ve not received specific constructive criticism like this in my current job (not at strategy& anymore). Mostly I’m told to just keep doing what I am doing. My team is small and regular performance reviews like in consulting isn’t common

I started a new job just 7 weeks ago, but an opportunity for a dream job just suddenly and unexpectedly fell into my lap! It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! That being said… I’m going to feel bad leaving this new job so soon. I’m sure they’ll be disappointed and maybe even angry… is there any way to NOT burn bridges on my way out of this current job?

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. A successful small startup in NYC doing PE/niche executive recruiting and 2. a fairly reputable PE consulting group in Austin. I’m going through the recruitment process at McKinsey for a middle/back office role (capabilities for a really cool space) but by the time I hear back, one of my offers won’t be on the table. Hello, I was in a verbally abusive college relationship and struggled with mental health. Therefore, my gpa suffered greatly (2.9). However, I now have a good job and am doing very well. Should I explain the reason for my low GPA in my MBA app? I’m applying to LBS, Booth, Stanford, UCLA, UCB etc.

Graduated 3.4 UGPA in engineering and economics from a non-target school. 3 Years experience. If I am aiming for M7 how much of a stretch is that and what kind of GMAT score?

Admitted to Sloan and deferred HKS MPP. Is this dual MBA/MPP worth it? I’d like to keep options open in the long term for leadership roles at places like World Bank, UNDP, IMF, etc.
