Went to booth. Definitely rigorous but nothing that can’t be managed. Grade non disclosure helps a lot especially during recruiting season. If you want to do very well in class, you need to put in a good amount of work… if you want to just pass, not nearly as much. I would not be nervous about the amount of work that people who didn’t go to booth are telling you about. I know people who have done time intensive internships for all 6 quarters and managed without any issues. Just depends what you want to prioritize.
This sounds so great! The ultimate MBA experience in my eyes. Happy for you! Where did you like to travel if you don’t mind me asking? :) I was wondering which destinations would be nice or convenient to go to besides the other major cities in the US.

Current Boothie. You can put as much time and effort in as you want according to your personal goals and priorities. There are people that really care about learning the material, but there are also many people who couldn’t care less after they get a job and skip class to go to get drunk at Carnival in Brazil lol. The curve makes it nearly impossible to get bad grades, even if you don’t turn in a single assignment
My ex-colleagues at HBS report there’s no breather when it comes to coursework; their student clubs are nearly dead. In that sense, I don’t think Booth is more rigorous, but I’d like to hear from people who can shed some light on this. Don’t want to choose a flexible program for nothing 😂
The second year is pretty chill but the early semesters are pretty intense. My school had a partnership with Wharton and they seemed to do almost nothing in the second. A few classes and long breaks for internships or projects but they are as hard as you choose to make them.
