I am at the offer negotiation stage with AT&T.
I have 5 YoE + M.Tech from IIT and my interviews went well
My current CTC(Bonus+Base+Stocks for 1 year) : 25LPA
I have an offer of 34LPA(32 Base+2 Lakhs of bonus) from Velotio
AT&T HR has quoted 33.8LPA Base which is below my current offer.
I am expect atleast 10-15% above the current offer for the Data Engineer Specialist Role.
What should I do to make the HR agree to 10-15% increase over the current offer that I hold

Is there a group for people who aren’t alcoholics, but have issues drinking? Is it rude to go to AA if you aren’t totally dependent, but it is affecting you adversely?

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? I was not yet in the job market last recession but I watched my mom get laid off and struggle to find employment during that time for the next 1.5 years. I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. Is it better to stay put?

People with experience with panel interviews/super day/multiple on site interviews within the same day: how long did it take to hear back? Since company interviewing all final stage candidates in one day it should be quick…

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” Any thoughts/advice?
