No offense to A1 but Clarks are so ugly. I sent a link for a cute pair at Quince. Sam Edelman and Steve Madden have cute pairs at good prices, too. Also Anthropologie. Hope this helps. I used to be a personal stylist during undergrad, so this is my shit. :)

Clarks can definitely be on the frumpy side, but every once in a while they put out a decent block heel or bootie. It’s rare, but it happens

Marc Fisher and it’s not even close. Easily the most comfortable heels I own. Plus they have a huge variety of colors so you can find your preferred nude heels

Where are my home cooks at?

I'm entertaining guests and picked up a black summer truffle on a whim, trying to decide what to do with it. I've got some rib eyes and will be making mashed potato as well (among other things).

After sous vide and searing the steaks I was going to cook fresh rosemary and thyme in some butter before spooning them over the steaks while resting to heat them up a bit immediately before serving.

I think I've got my truffle 101 now so sounds like (cont)

Interviewing question: for anecdotal “tell me abt a time when..”, & similar questions - are you allowed to recycle stories from your undergrad years or do they only look for post grad/work stuff? Afraid some of the stories that sounded okay at undergrad recruiting might now come across as a bit “lightweight” in this context...like would they eye roll if we start talking about that one time we did a science competition sophomore year of college (even though it taught an important lesson)..etc.🤔
