I am looking to exit my current role and reconnect with my old boss. I made a mistake. The grass was not greener. I don't want to admit this to my old boss. I want to reconnect from a position of strength, but my current role has thoroughly beat me down and killed my confidence. How do I approach the conversation without saying that my current job is the worst and I want to come back?
