depends on what career path you would like to evolve in. if you want to start working in an office, then sign up with different staffing agencies to get your foot in the door. staffing agencies have temporary positions, temp to perm and contracts. if you don't have transportation, is there metro (bus, train, subway) in your area? that would be tough with no transportation.
The best job , In my opinion when you are unsure, yet you want something stable would be some sort of call centre. Working in a call centre has gotten me exposed to a lot of different types of people and handling different types of emotions. Great place to start work if you feel like you don't have any professional experience, as long as you can speak the language. Do not lose hope, remember, there is a time and place for things to fall in place. However, this would be my strategy because it fits your requirements.
