Hi All! I am all set to join Infosys from 10th October as a Senior Consultant and they have given us an option of in person or virtual onboarding. With Wipro and TCS incorporating a hybrid model, is there any news that Infosys may also do the same?
My HR had given an option of permanent wfh during recruitment, can anyone currently working at Infosys shed some light on this please!! Infosys
Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

2 kids - 5 and 2 years. I help get them ready and take them to kindergarten and daycare in the am's - and then work most of the day just like in an office. I will use break time for laundry, cleaning, even TV - and sometimes run an errand if I know I'll be working later that night. I love the flexibility but it's exhausting sometimes bc I work a lot of hours actually. Are you suggesting your kids would be home while you work? It's nearly impossible 😂
Thanks pwc1- one of my kids is in school the other stays with parents and now I need to move him with either a nanny or day care. I’m just starting to work from home so we need to make adjustments.
I have one toddler. P1 pretty much covered it, except for me husband does drop off/pick up from daycare after I get her ready. Agree with longer hours overall, but I suppose parenthood comes with it. Also agree that it's nearly impossible to work if my toddler is at home.
No way would I be able to work with a kid at home. My situation is similar to P1 - I block off my calendar from 7-8am so I can help get kids ready and walk my older one to kindergarten (and later she goes to after school care that’s open til 6). My partner takes the baby to full-day daycare. I do both pick-ups around 5/5:30. Work later at night as needed.
