I am working on a scrum team as a senior dev. Most other places I have worked, the lead position was very involved in day-to-day implementation / work. However, on this team I am doing most of what a technical lead should do. My lead does no work and instead attends all the meetings he can and spends the rest of his time setting up unnecessary meetings. I’ve asked our shared boss about expectations but no results. Any advice on what I can do (I’m already looking for other positions)?

What book have you read that was helpful for your career and/or that you would recommend? Could be a technical book, management, etc. For me, it’s a book I read a few years ago: The Phoenix Project. I never thought I would read and like a novel about DevOps but I recommend it to all my managers.
