i asked for a raise after 7 month in a company that underpay and overwork everyone some of my teammates got their raise after 9 to 10 month while i got rejected because as the HR said you have to hit the one year mark which is bullshit because i was informed that i can ask for salary raise after 6 months based on performance now i just worked my ass off for nothing

as an analyst how do I network and maintain connections with external orgs (clients and more so buyers) after the deal has closed? I have their contacts of course but do I add them on LinkedIn after? Is is better to maintain connections w the junior team and how should I go about it w senior management? This is for general networking not that I’m trying to hop to a PE/other org immediately. TIA!

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
