I came to this job straight out of college with a degree in Communication. 4 years in now, and increasingly realizing my agency does not keep salaries up with the market rate AT ALL... I know that our PM skills are generally (ish) transferable to other industries and I see a lot of postings for tech and construction. But if I want to stay in the comms world, and maybe not wear as many hats as PMs do... have I hopelessly pigeonholed myself?
