Is anyone familiar with payroll taxes on commission checks? My company pays salary bi-weekly and commission monthly through Rippling. Our commission checks were taxed at a really low rate last year due to separate commission/salary payruns. Now, commission employees are all facing huge tax bills. I know we still owe that money, but is this anyone's fault? It feels like someone screwed up, but since we still owe money, it's hard to know if there is any cause for retribution.

Firm recently paid out 4% bonus to every employee at end of fiscal year as a profit share bonus. This was after raises given in early Fall of 3%-8% range. Does anyone know how I could confirm an insecurity? I question my chin and jaw line - it almost looks like I have a double chin in candid photos or videos, and no neck.
