Not about Amazon but maybe someone has the answer I’m looking for :) At Meta if you interview for a contract role and get rejected does the 6 month cool off period still apply to you when apply to new jobs? Similarly, if you are employed by a staffing agency at Meta are you barred from interviewing for other roles there? Facebook (Meta)

What are your long-term (5-10 years out) goals for both career and personal wise? Make sure your career is aligned with your personal values and goals otherwise you will struggle with conflicts down the road.
I’ve been doing Sr PMing for 12+ years now. Tbh it depends on what you want, what your lifestyle is and your own goals. Next step from Pm work is obviously more senior level or then larger project budgets if you’re not already managing the financials.
Ince you move out of 50k projects and into managing 100 million projects things change. The work changes, the stress changes and impacts your lifestyle.
Once you’re done swimming in the project space then the next level is Program Level work.
A program manager will oversee an umbrella of different projects in their portfolio. The role has it’s pros and cons. You just need to be aligned and ok with them.
If not then just do what makes you happy.
Remember you’re happiness and sanity is what matters here. Not what others think.

As for staying at the company for longer or moving on after a while - that greatly depends on the growth opportunities at that particular company, but as a rule of thumb, you get a better deal switching every ~2 years or so.
It really depends on what motivates you. It sounds a little like you’re just plotting out your career without a reason why. Work gives us multiple things for our life but hopefully it’s not your life. And there’s phases in work too that coincide with your personal life - like a period where your really need to be challenged and stretched, or a period where you need stability, or an opportunity to network and meet new people, or focus and become an expert in a particular area for PM’ing. PM’ing is such an amazing work skill - what do you want to use it for? What do you want to be a part of?
