What is the cheapest way to keep Avis points from expiring? Per their policy, points will expire if there's no points activity (earn or redeem) in 12 months. Any idea why the gas prices could have spiked by $.25 overnight? Scanned the news for any events that could impact it, but can't figure out why. I expected it last weekend w/ holiday travel and usually it goes up by a few cents to $.10 at max gradually. I was just surprised that it went up $.25 overnight.

I am a field marketer. I travel and cover 12 states. HQ is across the US on the east coast. My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I stood up and asked to be included on available dates and said I will attend virtually but asking me to be away for 4 additional full days away from my family without asking me is not OK. What's the concensus on designations in the property claims world? Been in the industry 9 years, 2 as a supervisor. Trying to decide if I should chase one or two down. Only want to do it if it will help my career growth though.

I tryed my best in an interview for a lateral move position at American Airlines . I passed the first round and the second round was a panel who do not even belong to this team. I thought I gave my best and answered according to American Airlines work culture and it has been a week and haven't heard from them yet. Chicago-based. Have a Google offer for L4 UX Researcher (base 153 / bonus 15% / RSUs 369 / sign on 30). Y1 TC is ~300 excluding the sign on. RSUs are frontloaded so TC over 4 years would be more like ~270. Thoughts? Is that fair?

I love the company I work at but they are forcing everyone to return to office after two years working fully remote and the most successful eight quarters the company has had in years. People are leaving left and right forcing me and other team members to pick up the slack. For many reasons I do not want to return to office and they are standing firm on their policy. It has forced me to consider other opportunities. Anyone have any recommendations on remote opportunities?
