I am leaving JP Morgan next month and have resigned before completing of my 1 year with the firm but technically my year will be completed next month before notice period. The laptop allowance and the relocation allowances will it be recovered from me during my exit??

I wonder if there is some psychological reason that they do it. I think about that a lot. Maybe people spend more money when they are in the "Christmas mindset" because they want to not disappoint their friends and family, so they end up spending more. There has to be some reason we're listening to this awful music for so many months.
I honestly don't mind some Christmas music, it reminds me of being back in school and it's nostalgic fun. However, you're right that two months of it is just too much. I'm really tired of hearing it, and I'm sure you're right that a lot of customers would rather not be hearing it.
Some of the songs can be fun to sing to. I do understand though that when you hear an annoying song like Suzy Snowflake CONSTANTLY, you start to hope Suzy gets a snowball to her throat at 150 miles an hour and dies instantly. Maybe even have Jack Frost Jack her up! The worst is that there started the Christmas music even before Halloween. It can be exhausting.
If you are in retail long enough (especially retail that focuses on Christmas sales), it won't take long before you truly hate the holidays. Most Christmas music is banal crap. (There are only 12 Christmas songs that don't completely suck, and none of them can be played at work) You do learn to tune it out, eventually.
