My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

Does LTA and phone allowance are processed each month as a taxable income if we do not produce the bills ?

One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?
