I had my license about a decade ago and worked as an agent for a few months before life took me in a different direction. I want to get back into it now. Will employers hold the lapsed license against me?

Are you planning to get it renewed? I'm not sure why they'd care that it lapsed as long as you get it renewed.

Not in this job market. From what I am seeing, insurance agencies are short-staffed and desperate for help. I would just start applying and see what kind of feedback you get.

I’ve seen people go out of insurance and come back to it. Have you been keeping up with getting your agency licensed renewed and taking CE classes?

I just defended my first depo and I feel like I did a terrible job. The questions and answers were so fast I feel like I didn’t even have a chance to think what objection was appropriate. Any resources for learning objections better. Or tricks on how to tell when a question being asked is not good?

I applied for a position through a recruiter and made it through the interview rounds with the actual company and received a verbal offer, but haven’t heard back since. Am I able to reach out directly to HR for updates or does all communication have to be filtered through the recruiter?

So I’m engaged in an interview process for a top FinTech company. It started the 1st week of August and just now I’ve gotten word from my recruiter that they didn’t update on any decisions made. I had my 3rd & final interview last Friday. My recruiter doesn’t communicate well nor does she let me communicate with the company direct. May I being led on? Am I still in the race for this role in your opinion with the details stated. Please message me if you would like to know more in detail.
