I have 5 years of overall IT experience, including 4 years as a Salesforce Developer. My interview process at KPMG was smooth, but the salary offered was much lower than my competing offer. Despite sharing my counter offer, the HR team wasn't willing to negotiate or match it. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any scope for further negotiation after the initial offer, or is the first offer usually final? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.
