Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

Just move out. Do you want to work for an organization where the GPM has accused you of being 'greedy' Or 'selfish'.
Just say that with all due respect to Infosys, u feel this is the right opportunity for u to achieve growth in your career, both financially and professionally.
No need to burn bridges. But you aren't here to please others.
Maintain your polite stance but now you know exactly why you should be leaving :)
Yes really. I didn't know it will be like this. I am serving my whole notice period and giving my 100% in notice period as well. I've even worked on 2 weekends.I want the process of me leaving as smooth as possible as my team is really nice. My manager even said that though they'll try their best to retain me but unofficially speaking I should go as it will be better for my career.
But when such a senior person says things like this it really dips the morale.
Not sure if infy gives promotion on merits or just on experience.
To be honest think about yourself as your GPM is trying to save his a** by retaining you. Instead be kind to your GPM By referring him to your new organization may be he will get a second thought on a good hike... 😀
What matters in end is if you are getting proper compensated. When there is an offer for 60% hike, why would u even consider if staying back. As for the words of your GPM, don’t give him any attention. He is probably himself looking outside but no one is offering him this hike. All that matters to employees is their respect, pride, learning opportunities and money. If you have to compromise on one or two, leave the firm. However with any big4 there is another factor of WLB which comes into picture. Usually the WLB is bad any big4( speaking from my current experience)
Listen, WITCH like companies are all like this. I faced a similar situation recently.
I was supposed to be released from my project a while ago. Fortunately got an offer, so resigned.
Now the DM started shouting, saying he had plans for me, you did not discuss resignation with me😂
I was pushing for a release for months, at that time they said there are no plans😂
So yeah, they are like that. They do not care about you or your life, all they need is their work to be done. So let them be, and enjoy your notice period buddy. Take the chill ride, and let them burn.
Just be polite and enjoy your manager getting cooked from inside
If there is no on-site opportunity along with salary hike no need to get retained in Infosys like company, kindly ignore managers, don't even expect to get retained even of they give 60%
May I know your YoE and CTC
Absolutely, you can simply tell them that even if they don't see the value another organization does and you have to look out for yourself since this isn't some public benefit. But politely of course
Isha??
No but if she's going through the same, based on the comments you can ask her to leave the job without second thoughts
Ask for unrealistic things
1) onsite with visa within ur notice period
2) match the offer plus 10% extra that too within NP
I guess u donot have any proof if ur conversation otherwise u could have used it against him/her..
I think his main motive was not to increase your package or retain you but to humiliate you.
I have noticed (is not true for all cases) sometimes people who spend a lot of years in one organization become grumpy and agitated to freshers or people switching the company.
I will advise you to be extra careful while finishing your last day requirements. Such people directly or indirectly try to take out grudges on the time of seperation.
Do what you like! You are the hero of your life, need not bother about things like these as they talk just talk to have profit at their end and least bothered about employees…
just leave the company , I would say
Don't take it to heart. 4 days before my LWD, my manager called me up and told me just cause I have you have put your papers, doesn't mean you ll do such shoddy work and ignore your duties. He expected me to work until the very last day :) Just politely refuse and move on. They are venting out cause they are at a loss here
Now you know the reason to leave better,Even if they give more than 60% dont stay
There's s big difference in compensation, no point settling for 30 percent if you are getting a 60 percent hike
I guess he must have used those words for himself and also proved it to add a 30% hike. So just chill. Enjoy your good hike in another firm.
Well you should definitely not stay even if they match or give more salary...
When did you join Infosys ? As he accused you of leaving early..just curious..
I joined 14 months ago and I am in the project for 8 months now. I have worked on two different implementation in the same project and my collegue is always out sick or getting married or her laptop breaks down hence handled their support project as well for 2 months
Hey man, I understand how you feel. This is exactly the time where Leaders should be understanding, but if they are not, you know are on the right track nad made a good decision for yourself.
Even better, he solidified your decision by doing this. I went through the same, so keep your chin up.
Onwards and Upwards!
Take the offer from the big4. You wouldn't want to work for a company that just values you against money.
Leave the company for sure and before you leave , do have a conversation with talent team regarding the humiliating behavior on an official platform.
You just need not pay heed to him, move on mate
