Why would you get that car? Wouldn't you be able to afford something a bit better and reliable as a principal?
I would recommend a Porsche SUV. Reliable and much more fun to drive.
Lexus are very reliable and low cost maintenance. Generally good service at the dealership and plenty of good stand-alone shops to take care of it if you want to save a few bucks. Said elsewhere, RX is the best seller for a reason.
RXH doesn't fit the criteria you mentioned about 3rd row with room in trunk. Go with Palisade or Telluride for that. Both have great reliability amd top of their segment across multiple parameters. If you need a reliable 3 row seater with good trunk space that is also an suv then wait for 2024 toyota grand highlander.
Principal means different things at different firms :).
The reason I’m not looking to Porsche is because I want a third row and/or a big trunk, and they only make 2-row with tiny trunks. Family of 5 plus a dog and we do some road-tripping so a little more room is helpful.
Also are you suggesting that Porsche is more reliable than Lexus? I don’t know, which is why I’m asking, but that would surprise me. And as important as the frequency is the cost. I would expect Porsche to be outrageously expensive for the most minor issues, which is part of my concern.
