I have a Tax Advisor role with a (very) small firm requiring CPA and 3 seasons of experience - base comp is $110-130k but there are no benefits. The role is remote. Is this reasonable or are we way off base?

I joined HCL in july 2021 & completed one year in july 2022. Currently I am serving notice period and my last working day is December 7th. I resigned in September month
So when I will get my variable pay of last year as my performance cycle is still not closed.

In the meantime, I’ve applied to a lot of similar roles (slightly higher) but have not heard - good or bad - from any. Is it common for companies to slow down hiring in December because of Q4 rush, people on holiday, etc.?

Currently looking for a remote job in the banking industry. I have 17 YOE - 10 in retail community banking in Deposit Ops, Lending Ops & accounting. The other 7 was at a Banker’s Bank in Correspondent Lending Ops then for the Exec Team and BOD as an EA with special projects for Execs. I have several areas of interest and have applied so far at PNC, KeyBank, Regions and FRB Boston. I also just finished my BA in Bus Admin and have Assoc. in Accounting. Any job recs out there for me? :)

Are they working on creating a products and up selling to their current clients? Curious if working their tech teams provide a good exposure to the client or is it just going to be backend platform work with out any client exposure.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

Any resources to help the brain structure tasks and make better estimates? Much appreciated, thanks!
