OneStream!
Anaplan gives me nightmares.
Best depends on the scale of your operations, depth of software capabilities required, and your available resources (time and money) to spend on licensing and training.
I see heavy usage of Anaplan, OneStream, Oracle EPM, and SAP BPC on a go forward. I’ve seen TM1 (now IBM Planning Analytics), but Anaplan seems to be the comparable tool (build anything you want, but beware building anything you want).
There’s also always excel for those masochists
😂 “excel for those masochists” I’m using this.
Back in my day, we used Hyperion and TM1 lol
Just wanted to feel old for a second.
Anaplan is the best planning platform on the market currently. Planful is great for consolidations as is onestream (planful is a bit easier to use). Some of the new tools on the market look exciting but I haven’t seen them at enterprise scale so don’t know how well they scale (the same problem I saw with adaptive)
I would say OneStream > Planful for consolidations - planful is a simpler software but that also comes with limited solutions and becomes difficult with larger firms who have more complex processes. OS has a marketplace of various solutions - OFC is constantly updating. Regards to planning, if you have the right consultants lol almost anything is code-able.
(I am unfamiliar with Anaplan/Adaptive)
We’re going with Anaplan. I’ve never used it though!
