I have an agent that has handled a rental property I bought from her in another state. I bought another property in that area but directly from that agent because it saved me commission and also whenever I would ask my other agent for rentals she wouldn’t send the best. I do want to have her rent out this other unit I bought since she is very kind and provides great communication, but I feel she’ll get offended that we didn’t buy through her. Could I just say it was a private deal?

You can say whatever you want, but depending on the state, she may be able to look up some of the details of the transaction and see you bought it from the other agent.

Oh 100% She’ll get paid for helping us rent it out

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

Mine’s the hours, which is not normally my issue. I billed 230 for June and July and am already at 145 for August. I burst into tears this morning when a client changed plans and now wants a major project by end of month, on top of my other deadlines next week... I just want to sleep.

Does this mean that without paying extra, the med insurance is just 1.5L?

When I first got with the company I received a pay increase prior to what I was making at my old job. But I have over 6 years of experience in finance, agile (non cert but that’s another story), accounting and team building. This experience was all gained without me having my bachelors in Finance and Accounting (I have it now). The rest in the comments…

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?

So I am about to move to D.C this fall for work. I'm really interested in Real Estate and renting places out but don't know where to start. Should I look into getting a license or just putting down money on a place to own and then renting it out? What makes the most money? How long would it take to see income?

If someone could please help clarify - how do I add other people on the onset on buying a property? This is a new build, buying directly from the builder.

New strat folks.
1. Buy a condo complex.
2. Put the land under said condos into a land conservatorship (for taxes)
3. Rent condos at discounted rates (for taxes)

5. Have another business generating revenue to offset this.
