Currently have Series 24, 7, 63,65

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

So 85+40+35= 160 but only Half guaranteed… late 20’s so less than 10 years experience?

I’m thinking you are VERY well paid for a support position unless you are NYC or a California city.

like

This is extremely well paid even for NY ops, even with my OT I was lucky to make 75. Zero bonus. Circa 6 years ago

Count your blessings. You are in your 20s. You are supposed to work a lot now and save. Better a bird in the hand than 2 in the bush.Take a deep breath and take one day at a time!

I work in WM too, I believe we are hiring for Ops (not 100%). If you are looking to stay in Ops and located East or West Coast, lmk

I'm in my mid-twenties and was recently let go from an advisor role at a HNW RIA firm with 80k base salary, profit sharing bonus, and no OT. Reasons for being let go were clique-ish and political in nature sadly. I'm finding that my options are exceedingly limited for anything similar, and it seems that falling from this position was actually falling from the top. So I would echo everyone else here and say to count your blessings. I would love to be in your position lol. Maybe get your CFP or CFA and see where that takes you?

your TC sounds nice but then I heard your hours. My TC is about 80k and I probably do 20 hours of work a week in my remote role.

You can always look into Compliance where WLB is pretty and comp can still increase.

Grass is always greener on the other side but id say WLB is important as I basically feel like I live a semi retired life in a HCOL city at 29 years old.

Anybody know salary range for VP Operations for GS in SLC?

In talks with A&M to come over to their TAG practice from EY FDD as senior associate. Base salary is very competitive on top of the alluring "bonus" structure. 2 questions:

1. Do they normally offer sign on bonuses?
2. Is their any disadvantage between A&M FDD compared to B4 FDD in terms of exit ops down the road? Trying to look 5 years down the line

Would appreciate any insight!

In my previous iteration it took the RTS and the accuracy was good, but after I made a few updates to the underlying data the accuracy has come down and AutoPredict is not making use of the RTS.

Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?
