So I am about to move to D.C this fall for work. I'm really interested in Real Estate and renting places out but don't know where to start. Should I look into getting a license or just putting down money on a place to own and then renting it out? What makes the most money? How long would it take to see income?

Alot of what your saying depends. If the numbers work you definitely can make money. When you say license you mean real estate license? Also Is your company helping you with relocation? And are you moving to DC specifically or the close/surrounding areas(MD,VA)

Yes, real estate license. Company isn't really helping with move. Not too sure about where I'm moving to yet. Between DC and MD. I won't have a car my first year working either, so ill be using public transportation. Making around 80k the first year. Also have 20k worth of student loans. Coming straight out of undergrad.

I am a traditional reservist so I never really used military benefits before, but could use advice here.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?

I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.

In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.

I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.

Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

AT&T: HBO-MAX is probably top 3 stream platforms along with netflix and disney plus. Despite this AT&T trades at a super low multiple. Is this the next glow-up a la Disney this past month? I understand that the core AT&T business may seem like a "liability" to the valuation but I still think that their valuation doesn't make sense. What am I missing?

It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway.
