I have customers asking for savings on products all the time. My thought process is you pay the price for whatever you want, when they consider something a need they want discounts and savings. I’ve had customers go as far as asking for my employee discount. Which I always tell them I don’t get discounts n that item. My job is strict on the employee discount, it’s not a family discount! I love my job and I don’t want to risk my job for a customer.

I like my current job, company and public accounting. I know I am being underpaid at $70k as a senior tax associate with 2-3 years of experience as I have talked with my local peers as well as local recruiters. Also, I know outside hires to my company get paid about $5-$10k higher than me, but they don’t get a raise the following year.
