I'd just make a new version.
That's a tough one. I had students who missed a test the last day before school closed. I ended up exempting them from the test. There was just nothing else I could come up with. (Hmmm....wondering now if exempting everyone from that test would be more fair.) 😞
There’s only so much control we have when we are working remotely like this.
A couple of thoughts I have.
1. Make a different version, like THS suggested.
2. Reiterate to the kid this is a test and let them know that, even though they are working at home, they are expected to treat it like a test.
3. Set a time limit. That way the kids don’t have time to be dishonest.
In the end, there is no fool proof way to guarantee 100% they will not cheat. It’s just a fact of the circumstances we are in.
