Thinking about online teaching. What works best to show students how you work through a problem: document camera or electronic tablet or something else? Recommendations of specific technology?

How are you doing distance learning with core math classes? We are not currently doing anything, but we are unsure of anything after 3 weeks. Also, what are you doing for students without internet?

What do you do with a class that exhibits poor behavior with anything other than quick paced, teacher led instruction? I want to dig into inquiry but they misbehave if I don’t catch them back quickly

Anyone have a solid 8th grade Math curriculum? I’m teaching is a mixture of Algebra 1, and Pre-Algebra. But I’m not sure how much to delve in polynomials and radicals- as they will get that in Alg 1.

What's you "dream class" that you would love to teach but for whatever reason you can't? For me: probability & stats, formal logic, or cryptography.

I teach 4th grade math. I would love some input on how YOU make math come alive and fun for kids. Got any good ideas? I will tell you that I do have a class set of chrome books. I’m all ears:)

I'm teaching a 6th grade replacement math group and trying to find ways to help students who struggle with subtraction. What strategies have worked for you? Fingers keep getting counted wrong!

I have an Ohio 4-9 math & science license but will move to Colorado. Does anyone have experience with Ohio to Colorado reciprocity? Do they accept OAE scores or will I have to take the tests again?

Anybody have a different word to use for ‘quiz?’ The kids can do the HW with me/on their own- but as soon as you pass out a quiz- everyone freezes. 🙄 I get test anxiety, seriously.
