I’m guessing these are kids who have already taken algebra and have failed it? I would say teach them the stuff that’s more advanced and then test for everything. There’s no way in the world you could actually cover each section of each chapter in eight days.

It’s Integrated Math 1, but yes, they’ve already taken the course. All are remediating.

In that case I’m guessing they want you to focus on the basics, and push them to learn enough well that they’ll pass the tests, instead of trying to cover everything on a surface level. Makes sense if it’s their second time around and there’s limited time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

People who came to the US on L1B, and successfully switched jobs (assuming visa switch from L1B to H1B), could you please share your experience or provide any useful tips? Feeling stagnant and trapped at my current job partly due to visa restrictions and ofcourse the pandemic situation. Looking to jump ship but not even sure if it's possible on an L1B.

My principal approached me in the car pick up line on Friday to inform me that I’ve taken to many days off & school has just started. I took 1day off when my daughter tested positive for Covid, I had an doctor’s appt that had been scheduled 6 months ago to see the hematologist. Being that I’m anemic, current labs showed I need to have 2 iron infusions. I put in for 2 more days off to have that done. He told me in the future to wait until a work day! We done have any until December!!

Did Accenture Strategy change their compensation model? I thought they were on a cohort system where each level got paid more than the previous. Recent job postings seem to suggest otherwise, with pay overlap between levels
