*I have years of experience in various areas and roles in nursing. I also have a degree in English. I have two years of grad-level nursing courses. I have worked with ICD codes, DRGs, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements. But, I have not explicitly worked IN UR, coding, pre-auth, or claims. Even if I apply for entry-level positions, the hiring manager wants at least a year of wearing that title on your nametag. Any tips or suggestions on how to break into these elusive fields? Thanks!
