Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

LOL omg... I would just delete the account and start over. If it's really important, they'll find you haha. That's truly an unmanageable number.

I spent about an hour and deleted around 10,000 emails. I guess I am not using too much data, since they have not deleted my account for exceeding the storage limit.
Whoa that's A LOT. Why don't you set up filters to automatically label emails from certain individuals. Then you can archive as much as you want knowing that you’ll be able to easily find them again in the future. I'd also spare around 3 hours tidy time each week to keep up with your inbox. It's extremely helpful.

Yes, I definitely need to set up the filters. I know there's a way to auto send somethings to the trash, just haven't figured that out yet.
I delete every day 75-100 emails from my personal email. Just have to do it, set aside time every day for this. It’s really not THAT time consuming.
I do it while watching TV. I click the box at the top that checks the boxes next to all of my emails and then I uncheck the boxes of ones I feel that I need to read. Once I hit delete the unecessary emails are gone.
That is an impressive number! It has been hard to keep on top of all my different email accounts, having more than one really does make it tricky and something I do not look forward to. Filtering can help if you have certain ones you’d like to organize. I try to keep on top of unsubscribing and blocking junk, that is like a full-time job in itself.
I keep getting emails from someone pushing a manga series about zombies. I hit unsubscribe everytime that I see it but the next day I get another. Yeaterday I did not hit unsubscribe. I opened it and replied that I have asked the students at my highschool if they know about your publications and they told me no. My graphic novels and manga books don’t circulate so I am never going to order. I have tried unsubscribing from your list and it won’t stop sending me emails. Please take the time to take me off your email list. I’m pretty sure when I return to work I will still have new zombie manga mail,
I also got behind on checking my emails and have to deal with thousands at a time. Whenever I go through my inbox now, I do try to do three things: I take time to find and click "unsubscribe" from frivolous promotional emails, I search for and delete emails from at least one company/newsletter/etc. that I no longer read, and I mass delete really old emails from the past.
Stuff that I want to keep, I use filters to organize. Newsletters or daily/weekly updates I want to keep getting, I filter them to be "marked as read" upon receipt.
In the summer, I get really proactive about blocking and reporting as spam all the senders I'm not interested in. This makes the school year more manageable. But also, my email server does a really good job of seperating all the junk and getting it to my junk folder.
Take time to delete every month!!!
