I interviewed at Infosys for the DevOps Consultant role. I cleared the first round (Technical Round) and I attended the second round (Techno-managerial round). It went well, as I perceived it, and I got a rejection mail. Even the interviewer asked me about the salary and said HR will contact you at the end of the interview.
There's yellow/orange tick on the portal with status "rejected after interview". What does that mean?

What is the best time of the year to be in the notice period?

I mean what is the time of the year where requirements in most of the companies are at pick?

Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?

Because in my previous switch, 15 days were wasted due to Christmas and in March lot of requirements went on hold due to financial year ending.
