Question: can an employer legally withhold your personal possessions after you leave the firm? I left my old firm recently and they were not happy about me joining another consultancy. They are withholding any belongings that I left in the office and have ignored my emails asking to arrange a pick up or delivery of my personal items. I do feel it is being sold at a premium but I can afford the property and locked down a 5.5% interest rate after a buy down costing 4K. Should I hold off on buying a place. Just accepted a job as Social Worker at a 56 bed SNF. Was told at interview that working hours were 8:00-4:30. Now finding out that the social worker normally works 8am-7:30pm regularly. Any RT in here done home health (apria, lincare etc..)? I been in acute care for 10+ years seen so much and done most thing related to acute care. Lately I been thinking of doing something different and home health is something I have never done.
