I joined in December 2025 and I’m still not allocated to any project. What should I do? I’ve been following up with the staffing team, and they said they will reach out if a role matching my tech stack becomes available. This is increasingly worrying me. Do they have a maximum bench period? Should I be concerned about layoffs?

I am an Audit S1 that wants to work in a B4 Forensics practice. Would it be best for me to accept an offer in Forensics at a much smaller firm (local, 150ish total employees) to gain experience and then try to move to B4 Forensics? Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ?
